# My postal code has letters in it and it was rejected

It should not be. Postal codes with letters are normal, and formats like `EC1A 1BB`, `K1A 0B1`, `1234 AB` and `VLT 1117` are all accepted.

What gets rejected is text that is not shaped like a postal code at all. If yours is a real format and it will not go through, tell support and we will fix the rule.
