# Why is the store form split into three steps?

So you are not looking at thirty fields at once.

- **Step 1, Basics.** What your store is called and where the money goes.
- **Step 2, Business.** Who you are as a business, and how customers reach you.
- **Step 3, Finish up.** Optional. You can skip all of it and fill it in later.

Steps 1 and 2 have required fields. Step 3 has none.
