Can I be charged twice or lose funds to a glitch?

No. Withdrawals are idempotent: your USDb is only redeemed once, refunds happen exactly once, and retries never double-charge or double-refund. The escrow that holds your funds during a withdrawal is always unwound exactly once — either settled (paid out) or released back to you.
