Deactivating turns the store off without throwing anything away:
- It stops taking payments, and any pay button you embedded stops working straight away.
- Your payments, refunds and invoices stay readable. They are financial records and we keep them.
- Your money is not affected. It sits in the agent wallet, and you still reach it from Agent Wallet.
- Your handle stays yours. Nobody else can claim it.
You confirm once on a short dialog, so it cannot happen with a stray click, and you can Reactivate later. One thing to know: any pay-button key that gets revoked when you deactivate does not come back on its own, so if you reactivate you may need to add an integration again for a fresh key.
